About Sig Sauer

In 1853, Friedrich Peyer im Hof, Heinrich Moser and Conrad Neher began what they thought would become a successful wagon factory above the Rhine Falls in Switzerland.

Little did they know then, that their company would become one of the world’s most renowned manufacturers of small arms. Just seven years after constructing an industrial plant for building the most sophisticated wagons and railway cars, the three ambitious owners undertook a more serious venture.

In part to a challenge from Switzerland’s Federal Ministry of Defense, the Swiss Wagon Factory entered the competition to develop a state-of-the-art rifle with the hopes the Swiss Army would adopt it.

At his point, the Swiss Wagon Factory, with an order for 30,000 muzzle loading Prelaz-Burnand rifles in hand, changed the name of the company to the Swiss Industrial Company – Schweizerische Industrie-Gesellschaft, known worldwide as SIG.

Fast-forward to the 20th century, in 1949, the SIG P49, the forerunner of the SIG P210 was developed for the Swiss Army and destined to become a legend on the battlefield as well as the competition field. That same year, the P220 made its appearance as the new pistol for the army, soon followed by the compact P230 for the Swiss Police. These pistols offered new features and levels of reliability never before seen in the industry.

October 1, 2007 SIGARMS changed its name to SIG SAUER.

The change reflected the vast worldwide growth in demand for Sig Sauer products. In response, the company more than tripled its work force in the next 30 months, invested 18 million US dollars in state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and equipment, and significantly expanded its engineering base. The name change, coupled with major new product introductions in pistol and rifles, reflects the continued commitment to the high standards of production, service and innovation the Sig Sauer brand has always represented.

The Herrington Arms HC365 Compensator is an amazing compensator that greatly reduces the vertical and horizontal recoil of your P365 with two finish options of FDE or Black to match your weapon color, this is easily one of the best upgrades for your P365 platform that is also at an incredibly competitive price point.

FAQs

The answer is easy! All you need to do is purchase the threaded barrel that matches your slide. For example, if you have a carry length slide you need a carry length threaded barrel (4.6"). If you have an X compact slide you need a X compact threaded barrel (4.3"). This will allow you to run a longer frame and give you an integrated look.

Yes they do. We have run tens of thousand of rounds through all of our models and have had zero malfunctions. If you are having an issue with a build, it is likely the case you have installed our prodcut incoretly or your handgun needs broken in. Compensators need a smooth running system to be reliable. A new handgun has tolerances that need to be worn in before we suggest adding a compensator

-It's easy! We designed our comps to be self-timing so all you have to do is

- Remove your slide from you frame

- Remove your guide rod assembly

- Apply Loctite to barrel threads

- Thread comp onto barrel until it stops

- Back off a 1/8 turn

- Apply Loctite to set screws

- Tighten down set screws

Impressively functional

Definitely surprised by how well this thing works, didn't anticipate a true noticeable reduction in recoil but this thing delivers. Looks great too. My only real complaint is that the set screws need some loctite so they don't rattle off and that makes it difficult to clean the weapon so not ideal for someone who uses it as a range toy. Would love to see a different method of securing it onto the barrel threads so it doesn't rattle off while shooting but is also easy to remove while cleaning.

Easy install, immediate difference.

The install of the comp on my EDC 365 was super easy. After a few hundred rounds of all different flavors, it cycles everything without qualms. My 365 with the comp shoots as flat and with the same, if not better, recoil impulse than my xmacro. I plan on adding more of these to my safe soon and have recommended them to anyone I know with applicable pistols.

Endless
possibilities.
