The Herrington Arms HC43 is engineered for the Glock 43/43X/48 series. It's available with side fins or no fins, giving it a seamless fit on Gen 5 slides, Glock clones, and aftermarket slides alike.

The HC43 runs on stock springs, provided your firearm has completed our recommended break-in period: 500 rounds of factory-new ammunition fired through the threaded barrel you intend to use, completed before installing the compensator. In testing, we've measured a 31.4% reduction in muzzle flip, depending on the 9mm load and model used.

AMMO DISCLAIMER: We DO NOT recommend using plated, bi-metal, or frangible ammo in ANY of our compensators. Doing so will void the warranty and we will not cover or replace the comp if there are any damages.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

• Make sure all threads are clean of grease, carbon, and loctite. Wipe the threads down till they're clean. If the threads are not cleaned, the loctite will not set properly.
• Only use loctite 243 on the barrel AND set screw threads. Some versions of the blue Loctite are not very strong and will not hold up. Feel free to use a generous amount.
• Torque the set screws to no more than 18in/lbs for 8-32 set screws and no more than 11in/lbs for 6-32 set screws. 
• Allow the loctite to set for 24-48 hours before using.
• Please be sure that the compensator is not touching the slide, frame, or guide rod as that can cause cycling issues.
