The Herrington Arms HC43 Glock Micro Compensator is designed to deliver severely reduced recoil with your trusty micro-Glock pistols. It is made of extremely durable and light 7075 Aluminum and coated with Black Anodized or FDE Cerakote finish that ensures great visual compatibility with your Glock configurations. Rest assured, it's going to look great and perform amazing with your OEM Glocks. We did not want to leave out the fully custom build guys and gals, so we now offer a NO FIN option that is the exact same compensator. It simply does not offer the fins off the back that wrap around the gen 5 slides like the original HC43 comp. Most aftermarket slides will not work with the finned option, thus the HC43B was born!

The HC43 Compensator is designed to work with Glock 43/43x/48 variants with 1/2-28 barrels and they must be a GEN 5 OEM Glock slide or Shadow Systems CR920! It works great with stock springs, so no change is required.

About Glock

Gaston Glock, an Austrian engineer, successful businessman, and manufacturer of injection molding parts and components, founded GLOCK Ges.m.b.H in 1963.

In the 1970s, development and production start-up of the first military products began to take place with the development of a line of knives, grenade casings and machine gun belt links.

In the early 1980s, the semi-automatic GLOCK service pistol was born in response to meet the needs of the Austrian military. It's polymer frame and the developed SAFE ACTION^® System revolutionized the pistol market.

Mr. Glock's innovative design successfully passed a series of stringent tests against domestic and international competitors. In 1983, the GLOCK pistol was accepted by the Austrian Army as their new service pistol.

Shortly after in 1984, the GLOCK 17 soundly passed the NATO durability test. As a result, the pistol was selected by the Norwegian Army as their standard sidearm, putting GLOCK on the road to becoming the preferred international law enforcement sidearm.

In November 1986, the company opened its U.S. headquarters, GLOCK, Inc., in Smyrna, Georgia.

The GLOCK pistol would soon be available in multiple sizes and accept different caliber ammunition. This combination, partnered with the simplicity and reliability of Mr. Glock's design, revolutionized the pistol market.

The Herrington Arms HC43 Glock Micro Compensator is a smart upgrade with solid function and an amazing look. Compensators are the best choice when you need to severely reduce vertical recoil; however, this compensator is also designed to narrow the horizontal recoil arc by tunneling the gas not only upward but to both sides as well.

We currently machine all of our compensators on 2 brand new Doosan DNM4500S CNC milling machines and a 2019 Tormach 1000mx CNC milling machine!

FAQs

The answer is easy! All you need to do is purchase the threaded barrel that matches your slide. For example, if you have a carry length slide you need a carry length threaded barrel (4.6"). If you have an X compact slide you need a X compact threaded barrel (4.3"). This will allow you to run a longer frame and give you an integrated look.

Yes they do. We have run tens of thousand of rounds through all of our models and have had zero malfunctions. If you are having an issue with a build, it is likely the case you have installed our prodcut incoretly or your handgun needs broken in. Compensators need a smooth running system to be reliable. A new handgun has tolerances that need to be worn in before we suggest adding a compensator

-It's easy! We designed our comps to be self-timing so all you have to do is

- Remove your slide from you frame

- Remove your guide rod assembly

- Apply Loctite to barrel threads

- Thread comp onto barrel until it stops

- Back off a 1/8 turn

- Apply Loctite to set screws

- Tighten down set screws

Exceeded expectations

It honestly exceeded my expectations. I’m aware of the reliability compromise stigma associated with comps but this thing has been nothing shy of reliable. It ate every ammo choice I threw at it, even some softer shooting 65gr. It did it on the factory recoil spring assembly as well. It’s a great design and super effective. I find that the hotter the ammo, the better it shoots/works the comp so I suggest training with 9mm NATO since it’s a little bit hotter than your standard 9mm loading

I honestly didn't expect much. But I have to say, I'm surprised at how effective this comp is at mitigating recoil and increasing time on target. I'm able to get the next round off accurately much quicker than I could without it.
